EASTER IN GERMANY

Many people attend a special church service on Easter Sunday. Churches are decorated with many beautiful flowers.Some communities have breakfast or lunch after the church service .

The most popular food for lunch , breakfast re evening meal on Easter day are :

-fried , scrambled or boiled eggs

-Roast lamb

-Various Salads

-Cakes baked in the shape of a bunny or lamb

Many people give and receive Easter eggs on Easter Sunday . Children are ofetn told that the bunny brings their eggs and hides them.

Many communities organise many games and have fun.

People in some areas of Germany , stay up all night and they keep the Easter five buming all night until dawn on Easter  Sunday .
