Easter in the USA

Easter in the USA is a major religious festival. Like most christian countries America celebrates Jesus Christ's resurrection after his death, many people also decorate eggs, but the USA has its own traditions, for example kids wake up at Easter morning and try to find a basket with candy left by the Easter bunny, then the kids go on an egg hunt, there are eggs hidden by the Easter bunny and the kids have to find them all. This how a lot of kids celebrate their Easter morning. Adults are the ones that usually paint and hide the eggs. A special dish for Easter in the USA is baked ham, potatoes, vegetables and cross buns. Each year the president of the USA invites more than 30000 people to the White House for the annual Easter egg roll. The egg roll is a race where children push an egg in the grass with a spoon the child to take his egg is the winner.
